With over 34 years of experience in the aviation industry, Giacomo Leone is a professional pilot and instructor with a well-established international reputation. After a long career as a Captain with Alitalia (accumulating over 18,200 flight hours, of which 12,800 as captain), he held key roles such as Compliance Monitoring Manager and Crew Training Manager, demonstrating strong expertise in both flight and ground operations.
He currently works as a freelance auditor and trainer for prestigious organizations such as Lufthansa Group, IATA, and Aviation Quality Services, specializing in Safety and Compliance Management, IOSA auditing, risk management, and auditor training.
He has also served as a Flight Inspector for ENAC, ranking first in the national selection. He holds a degree in Aeronautical and Nautical Sciences from the University of Naples Parthenope, and has a background in the Italian Navy as an officer and SAR specialist.
He is fluent in English and brings a strategic and operational vision of aviation safety and training, enriched by a strong spirit of collaboration and leadership.
