Commander with nearly 24,000 flight hours, he currently serves as a Type Rating Instructor. He began his career in the Italian Air Force, taking part in international missions, including the Antarctic base, as well as in Libya, Mozambique, and Somalia.
He later worked as a Captain for Alitalia, flying various aircraft types, including the MD-80, B777, and Airbus A320.
He holds a degree in Aeronautical Sciences from the University of Naples Federico II.
He has taught at several universities, as well as at the Guardia di Finanza Academy, delivering courses in subjects such as Human Factors, Navigation, and Meteorology.
